We've been missing Umberto Slongo and his recipes so much! After the closure of Pronto Pesce in the Rialto Food Market, Slongo came back, opening this chic small restaurant (only 8 tables), where delicious fish and seafood plates are served.
As the place is always full, booking well in advance is compulsory.
Dishes like raw fish marinated in citrus sauce, homemade pasta with monkfish cheeks (yes, you read right) and tossed with spices from St. Erasmo Island, or sea bass with strawberries, basil, and mint are musts... as is his delicious orange cake!
Open Tuesday to Saturday 12:00-2:30pm and 7:00-10:30pm. Closed Sunday evenings and Mondays.
