Kappabashi-dori

Tokyo's wholesale restaurant supply district, an approximately 15 minute walk from Asakusa station. The street is about a kilometre in length and lined with shops selling every kind of kitchenware you can imagine. You'll find everything from plastic sushi models to nabe pots, and certainly won't be able to leave empty handed. I stocked up on white ceramic dishes and furoshiki cloths.
